Meet The Team
Miguel Labodia: CEO of Rade Technology Corp. U.S.
Leading the Rade Technology Corp. team in the U.S. is CEO Miguel Labodia, a 20-year industrial engineer who graduated from the University of Zaragoza and previously worked as Production Manager at Chocolates Lacasa, and before that,
Chief Operations Officer at OMB Sistemas Electrónicos before joining Rade Technology in 2009.
He joined Radetec after meeting Spanish entrepreneur and martial arts master of Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, Raúl Delgado, who had a clear vision to apply electronics to firearms to help the user gain control and improve shooting skills. This resulted in an investment of over $10 million in R & D to develop the SpeedShot ammunition counting training systems designed to improve human reflexive speed-to-magazine replacement, and other related projects.
Miguel served Spain as a member of the Army (Ejército de Tierra) where he rose to the title of Second Lieutenant of Sapper Engineers. While in the military he was exposed to a range of firearms such as rifles, pistols and explosives, providing him with insight into the kind of training necessary to master weapons with speed and accuracy, especially when multiple magazine changes are involved.
He holds an Executive MBA, Master in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain. As a practitioner of the martial arts since his teens, he owns a Dojo of Aikido, a school for training in the Japanese arts of self-defense, in Zaragoza, Spain. Recently he relocated to Bethlehem, Pa., to service the needs of retailers and shooting centers that stock the new SpeedShot Training System.
